Doelstelling

The aim of the association is to represent the interests of the Belgian vegetable and animal oil and fat sector. 

Since the time when it was founded, UCOGRAS has mainly focused on stimulating contact between businesses and organisations in the sector.

For that reason, UCOGRAS welcomes all kinds of businesses: national and international, big, medium and small, from all the related sectors: transport, brokerage, trade, freight, inspection, analysis, rendering, margarine production, storage and transhipment, extracting, refining and recycling. Renewable energy has recently also been added to this list.

The association is a mediator in Belgium and abroad and maintains close contacts with various other European professional federations such as FOSFA International, NOFOTA, GROFOR, etc.
